Loire Valley Excursion

As part of the program, the Paris Center hosts many events throughout the semester available to all students studying abroad this semester, the last of which being a day trip to the Loire Valley. With a rich history, the Loire Valley hosts a dense population of unique castles, two of which the members of the Paris studio were given the opportunity to visit: the royal Chateau de Chambord and Chateau de Blois. Although the weather the day of the visit was not ‘perfect’, the overcast conditions that lasted all day, gave the experience a unique feeling, seemingly transporting students back in time to the glory days of the Loire Valley.
